How ZDC Services collects, uses, and protects your information across our apps and website.

1. Who This Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to ZDC Services (“ZDC”, “we”, “us”) and to every product operated under the ZDC name, including the ZDC Services App (local services directory), Chai Karwaan (restaurant management), InstaMeat (meat delivery), ZDC Dental AI Analysis, and ZDC Ads Agency. By using any ZDC product or website, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information, depending on which product you use:

  • Account details: name, phone number, email address, and profile information you provide during sign-up.
  • Location and GPS data: for services that involve pickup, delivery, or matching you with a nearby service provider (such as the ZDC Services App and InstaMeat), we collect real-time or approximate device location while the app is in active use, and for a limited period afterward to support order tracking, safety, and dispute resolution.
  • Identity verification (KYC) documents: service providers, delivery partners, and restaurant partners onboarding onto our platforms may be asked to submit a government-issued identity document (such as PAN, Voter ID, Driving Licence, or a masked/DigiLocker-verified Aadhaar) for verification purposes, in line with applicable law.
  • Payment information: payments across ZDC products are processed through Razorpay, a licensed payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI, or bank account details on our own servers — this information is handled directly by Razorpay under its own security and compliance standards.
  • Photos and images: ZDC Dental AI Analysis requires you to upload a photograph of your teeth or a dental X-ray to generate an analysis. This image is used solely to produce your result.
  • Usage and device data: app version, device type, crash logs, and general usage patterns that help us fix bugs and improve performance.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account and provide the specific service you’ve requested.
  • To match customers with nearby service providers, track deliveries, and confirm order completion.
  • To verify the identity of service providers and delivery partners before they are allowed to accept orders.
  • To process payments securely through Razorpay and issue receipts or refunds where applicable.
  • To generate your ZDC Dental AI Analysis result.
  • To respond to support requests, investigate complaints, and maintain the safety of our platforms.
A note on Aadhaar: Indian law restricts private companies from mandatorily collecting or storing Aadhaar numbers unless specifically authorised by UIDAI. Where we request identity verification, Aadhaar is accepted only in masked or DigiLocker-verified form, as one of several accepted identity documents — it is never a mandatory requirement on its own.

4. Location Data — How Long We Keep It

Live location is used only while an order, booking, or delivery is active. We retain location history connected to a completed order for a limited period to support safety investigations, fraud prevention, and legal record-keeping, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

5. Sharing of Information

We share information only where necessary to deliver our services: with the service provider, delivery partner, or restaurant fulfilling your order; with Razorpay for payment processing; and with law enforcement or regulators where legally required. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

6. Dental Image Data

Images submitted to ZDC Dental AI Analysis are treated as sensitive personal data. They are used only to generate your analysis, stored securely, and retained only as long as necessary to provide the service or as you direct — you may request deletion at any time.

7. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and you can withdraw consent for location tracking (which may limit certain features, such as live order tracking). Contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted storage and restricted internal access — to protect the data described in this policy. No system is completely immune to risk, and we encourage you to also protect your own account credentials.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our products are intended for users aged 18 and above, or for minors only under the supervision of a parent or guardian where a product is explicitly designed to allow this. We do not knowingly collect data from unsupervised children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products or in applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.
