KYC (Know Your Customer) verification helps improve trust, reduce fraud, enhance platform security, and support compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Why KYC Verification Is Required

Identity verification may be requested to verify the identity of service providers, verify business owners or vendors, prevent fraud and impersonation, improve customer trust, protect platform integrity, and comply with applicable legal or regulatory requirements. Not all users will be required to complete KYC verification.

Who May Be Required to Complete KYC?

Depending on the product or service, KYC verification may be requested from service providers, business owners, vendors, delivery partners, partners, franchise operators, advertisers, and other users where verification is necessary.

Accepted Identity Documents

Depending on the verification requirements, we may accept one or more of the following government-issued identity documents:

Aadhaar Information: ZDC Services accepts only legally permissible identity documents. Where Aadhaar is accepted, users should provide only a Masked Aadhaar or DigiLocker-verified Aadhaar, in accordance with applicable laws and UIDAI guidelines. ZDC Services does not require users to share an unmasked Aadhaar number unless permitted under applicable law.

Information We May Collect

During verification, we may collect your full name, business name (where applicable), identity document, business registration documents, business address, profile photograph (if required), selfie or live verification (where applicable), and contact details. Only information reasonably necessary for verification will be requested.

Verification Process

The verification process may include submission of required documents, review of the submitted information, verification of document validity, additional clarification where required, and approval or rejection of the verification request. Approval is not guaranteed solely because documents have been submitted.

Verification Outcome

After review, your verification may be approved, additional information may be requested, or verification may be declined if documents are incomplete, inaccurate, invalid, or inconsistent. Users may be allowed to submit updated documents where appropriate.

Data Protection

KYC information is handled with appropriate technical and organizational security measures. Access to verification records is limited to authorized personnel or authorized verification processes where necessary.

Retention of Verification Records

Verification records may be retained for as long as necessary to comply with applicable laws, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain platform security, and meet regulatory obligations. Records that are no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymized where appropriate.

False Information

Providing forged, altered, misleading, or fraudulent documents may result in rejection of verification, suspension of account, removal of platform access, permanent account termination, and reporting to competent authorities where required by law.

User Responsibility

Users are responsible for ensuring that submitted documents belong to them or their authorized business, information is accurate and current, and expired or invalid documents are updated when requested.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this KYC Verification Policy from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, verification procedures, or product functionality. The latest version will always be published on this page.
